Brotherhood Ministry

This ministry provides fellowship, training and development of Christian men (members and non-members).


Women’s Ministry

This ministry provides fellowship, training and development of Christian women (members and non-members). This ministry provides service to and comfort for our members that are going through a period of illness or loss of a love one. This ministry also attempts to show the love of God by providing clothing and physical nourishment for those in need.


Young Adult & Collegiate Ministry (Men and Women)

This ministry provides a time of fellowship among persons between the ages 17 through 45. They come together to discuss relevant issues and are strengthened to walk as Christians in the world.

ADULT MINISTRIES

Boys II Men

This is a ministry of male youth who desire to live a Godly life. Our focus is to develop spiritually strong and socially conscious young men in Christ.


Children’s Church

Our Children's church ministry is designed to provide children with an opportunity to experience God and to hear God's word taught in an engaging way in a safe environment. Our focus is partnering with parents to guide children toward a heart of God. We encourage Children to worship God through singing and  fun interactive bible lessons. We want our children to learn about Jesus, live for Jesus and let others know about Jesus.


Praise Dance Ministry

The praise dance ministry's purpose is to worship God and minister through dance. This is a spirit filled ministry which elevate God's people into the heavenly realm of pure worship.


Robert Bates Scholarship Ministry

This ministry provides encouragement and rewards to our students on a yearly bases. They also provide financial assistance to qualified college and vocational students.


Youth Ministry

The youth ministry focuses on the young people of our church and community, We attempt to develop God fearing, Bible believing youth that know their purpose in life and develop and use their God given gifts to bring glory to God. Our youth are encouraged to live out their faith in Jesus Christ.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRIES

Sunday School Ministry

This ministry provides a learning environment where one can obtain a better knowledge of God, experience His love and develop a relationship lifelong relationship with Him.

Deacons Ministry

A group of men assembled together to work as a team to conduct the business matters of GIMBC in accordance to the Will of God. This group is appointed by the Pastor with the guidance of God through much prayer and supplication.


Deaconess Ministry

A group of women assemble together to serve the body of Christ and assist the Deacon Ministry when and where needed. This group is primarily the wives of the Deacons that have been chosen.


Addiction Recovery Ministry

Our Christian Supportive Fellowship Recovery Program is distinct from rational approaches to addiction treatment because it focuses on the healing strength that comes from faith in God. At GIMBC, we utilize these teachings from the Bible to guide our group members back to a path of faith, love, peace, self-respect and familial ties. Our program helps our group members reaffirm their faith and learn the skills necessary to stay on the path of recovery.  Recovery from substance abuse requires taking steps toward restoring, or discovering for the first time, a loving bond with God: The Ultimate  Source of Renewal!

Choirs

The members of these ministries play a vital role in collectively lifting their voices in praise. During the worship experience they usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit and set the atmosphere for true praise and worship. They assist those present prepare our hearts and minds to receive a word from God by the preaching of His Word by the man of God.  These choirs consist of:


The Ensemble (Musicians)

A small group of individuals committed to making a joyful noise unto the Lord with their instruments.


The Male Chorus

A group of men united in praise to God in song generally on second Sundays and Men’s Annual Day.


The Women’s Choir

Christian Women dedicated to collectively lifting their voices in praise to God in song. This group is mostly heard on 5th Sundays and Women’s Annual Day.


The Sanctuary Choir

Our Sanctuary choir is a combination of both our male chorus and women's choir. This is a dynamic group that is under the authority and anointing of the Holy Spirit. They are effective in leading the congregation into the presence of God.


The Youth Choir

A group of young people that are not afraid to show their love for God in song.


Praise Team

Though praise and worship has two different meanings yet we use them interchangeable.  We praise God for what He has done but we worship God because of who He is.  The Praise and Worship Teams purpose is to usher in the Holy Spirit and connect with the congregation to prepare their hearts for the message that will be delivered by The Man of God.


Hospitality Committee Ministry

This ministry is one of the most important calls that Christ gives His church is to be welcoming to people. We are His ambassadors (2 Cor. 5:20), so, Jesus uses us to be His welcoming arms to draw people from the outside into His presence. It is an attitude of stewardship, where we do not own anything because we are merely the caretaker for the real owner, God. This should be the first smiling, comforting, and welcoming face our guest and members see. They are also responsible for collecting data, assisting secretarial staff with keeping membership records, contacting our guest, members and friends of GIMBC when needed.


Nurses Ministry

They possess special training and are committed to serving and assisting the church by offering programs that are established and proven means of promoting whole person ... The program does not cover invasive procedures or medical diagnosis. They also assist the Pastor, congregation, and ministerial staff when needed for non-life threatening situations and contacts additional medical staff when needed for assistance. They are CPR and First Aid Certified


Ushers Ministry

This ministry represents our door keepers in God’s house. They assists in ushering in God’s people to a seat of comfort and worship.
