Whatever we do, we do it to the glory of God. God has called us to operate in our everyday life in a spirit of excellence and humility. God has given us many gifts and graces as well as talents that God desires for us to use for His glory. It is ours to take the gifts that God has blessed us with and polish them just as a basketball player must practice his jump shots, just as a musician must practice their music, we as the body of believers, must take the individual gifts that God has entrusted to us and develop them that we may use them in a spirit of excellence. We must also remember that all good and perfect gifts come from God and thus there is no reason for us to brag but to remain humble and thankful to God for entrusting us with His precious gifts.
